Day 1 of 365 ..

I have been inspired by a fellow blogger/formspring friend to do a post with a picture for 365 days (A WHOLE YEAR). So today is my first day. I figured a Monday would be a good day to start! So my day today was pretty quiet. I didn't have to start my nanny job until 12pm, so I got to sleep in a little bit. It was SO rainy here today so we were stuck inside ALL day which was a huge bummer. To make this rainy day fun for the girls we made a fort in the living room and got some snacks and watched Shrek The Third! And then it was nap time and a break for moi.

Here is a picture of Ella! I was feeding her some applesauce for snack and she saw my hair elastic on my wrist and wanted it so I gave it to her and said "Do your hair pretty girl" and this is what she did! I was only with them from 12-5 today so it was a short day but we made it fun. Tomorrow I plan on taking them to the library for the morning and then we'll come home for lunch and nap time and go for our daily walk and to the park!

Nanny Who? Nanny Jaylyn :)

Hello Everyone :)

So clearly I did a horrible job keeping up with my blog this last week but my reason is that I have been so busy with my new job that I just haven't had time. Let me tell you about my new job; I'm a NANNY! I am so excited to get to spend my whole summer with these 2 little girls, you have know idea. I actually was not lying when I said I have been to busy to get on here all week as I have been doing SO many things with the girls. On Monday it was rainy so we just had a movie day and play day inside. Tuesday I had to go to the college to pay a bill so I packed everything up and off I went. When I was there everyone was like "OMG your girls are so beautiful". It drives me kind of bonkers because literally everyone these days thinks there is no such thing as a babysitter or nanny! I get so many weird looks because I look so young to "have" 2 daughters. Anyways thats the end of my rant. So after we went to my school we went to visit my old work and I bought the girls each a stuffed animal. Then we went to the Animal Farm (petting zoo). Wednesday we went to the mall and played at the play area, did crafts and made brownies. Thursday it rained again so we made a fort in the living room and had a movie day! So that was my first week as a Nanny and I LOVED it :) Here 2 pictures of the girls:

This is the 13 month old! I just love her :) Her name is Ella.

And here is the 3 year old wearing my nerd glasses :) Her name is Breslyn.
